Why support National Bullying, Not Cool Tour?
- 1 out of 4 students will be abused by another youth.
- Every 7 minutes a child is bullied.
- 77% of students are bullied mentally, verbally, and physically. Cyber bullying statistics are rapidly approaching similar numbers.
EFFECTS OF BULLYING
Bullying can have a signicant impact on both child and teenage students. Students who are bullied often suffer from anxiety, fear, withdrawl, low self-esteem, and poor concentration. A bullied student will often avoid school, have lower grades, and become socially isolated. Their has been numerous reports of sucide due to bullying. As these bullying statistics indicate, is just getting worse in American schools. Many studies have shown that increasing Domestic Violence at home are leading to an increase in bullying online and at school.
The Garcia 3 has announced to be the advocates for
the National Bullying, Not Cool Tour! Their committed to
reach out to the communites to "Give Back, Pay it Forward".
For six months we've been organizing the awareness from
a vision to reality. The Garcia 3 has just completed pilot season
in Los Angles; California. Their passion for helping
others will definately shine right through the school assemblies.
A 45 minute school assembly will consist of Motivation,
Encouragement, and Inspiration. The assembly
is unique with keynote topics and live performances with music
that relate to the students within Elementary, Junior High,
and High School; their single "All Around The World", available
on iTunes and their keynote topics Empowering students to end
bullying; throughout the United States, Hawaii, and Guam.
